Mr. Rogan,
Two fights I’ll never forget. UFC 165 Gustafsson against Jones. Then UFC 173 Dillashaw over Barao. I was going through tough times then, and these moments gave me strength and inspiration. Your voice is forever seared into these memories. For me, my love of MMA, came from your expert analysis and play-by-play description of the mastery at work. I appreciate then, and now, the effort you make to provide “access,” and understanding to this sport.
Is there a sport of greater consequence, and at this juncture, than politics? I listened to your interview of Andrew Yang, and I greatly appreciated your empathy for the human condition. Having grown up in Dayton, Ohio, I too had a family member in rehab.
I asked my dear friend Jon Franklin if we could possibly get my former Governor, John Hickenlooper, on a podcast with you. He is proposing the largest job skills training and apprentice program in the history of our country. But his greatest idea might be that he’s a moderate Democrat who wants to bring people together.
